After deciding to fight her shyness and starting to post online singing videos, Jessica grew the confidence to briefly attend singing and piano lessons. She performed in all of her middle school's performances, and went on to have a solo in her high school advanced choir. This choir has competed and won gold at NYSSMA standards. When Jessica was 18, she was featured on MTV2 singing for Bebe Rexha and her team back on both her and Jessica's hometown of Staten Island. Bebe Rexha's praise for Jessica's vocal talent and drive was aired on the documentary talking about her rise to fame. Finally allowing herself to take the steps towards living her dreams, Jessica transferred to her third college within 2 years in order to be able to have a concentration as a music industry major.
